Last Saturday I went for a run around half of the Langdale Horseshoe race route, where I was greeted by all manner of weather. The initial plan had been to do the full race route, but the weather dictated otherwise.

My first fell race back after a long time off injured was the classic Great Whernside race from Kettlewell, an intense 4-mile up-and-down race.
